In Spain’s fast-evolving wine scene there has been a rise in the number of different varieties. Some exciting new regions such as Bierzo, as well as flag-bearing traditional regions including Rioja, Cava, and Jerez, are making well-publicised changes directed at delivering unique taste profiles, with a greater focus on quality and terroir.
